Three types of air-conditioned, soundproofed, and acoustically treated rehearsal spaces are available for amateur and professional musicians : one large studio “Ensembles | Choirs | Big Band,” two amplified studios, and ten acoustic studios with or without piano. Four acoustic studios are located at the Maison des Provinces de France. The others are at the Maison du Cambodge.

The two amplified studios

Two air-conditioned and specially soundproofed studios, one 21 m² and the other 29 m², are available for amplified music groups (up to 8 musicians) or small acoustic ensembles. Each studio is equipped with music stands, a full PA system, guitar and bass amps, a drum kit, a keyboard, and microphones. Included in the room rate:

• 12-channel mixing console: Soundcraft
• Speakers: JBL, T Box
• Bass amps: Ampeg, Markbass
• Guitar amps: Marshall JCM 2000 and MA 50 C, Fender tube amps (Deluxe, Deville), Peavey
• Drum kit: Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage (with cymbals: 1 pair HH, 1 crash, 1 ride)
• Microphones: Shure SM 58/57
• Upright piano: Schimmel (Studio B) and Rameau (Studio A)
• Optional rental: keyboard

The ten acoustic studios with or without piano

Amateur or professional musicians can access facilities suitable for individual practice or small ensembles (duo, trio, quartet): ten studios ranging from 8 m² to 10 m², six of which are equipped with pianos (Petrof, Schimmel, Yamaha, Kawai).

The large studio “Ensembles | Choirs | Big Band

This studio is dedicated to medium-sized ensembles. With a total surface area of 127 m², it can host ensembles of up to 45 musicians or 60 singers. It is equipped with music stands, a drum kit, and a quarter grand piano (Petrof). Additional equipment can be provided upon request. Please note: classes, concerts with ticketing/advertising, recordings, and film shoots are not allowed. Only musical rehearsals, public presentations, student auditions and masterclasses are permitted in the music studios. For larger events, we invite you to submit a request via the Events Service: https://www.ciup.fr/la-fabrique-dexperiences/

Please note that bookings for the Grand Studio can only be made between 8 and 1 month in advance, depending on the time of year, the number of requests, and availability. Follow-up on your request will only be done by email. Due to the high volume of requests we receive, we cannot guarantee processing of incomplete or late requests.
